Science Alive
This is an exciting project based in Harlow that has been running since 2006. Its main objective is to raise awareness of science and technology within children and adults with a view to them considering science as a career.
The project currently delivers outreach programmes to schools and organisations within the region. To date the project has assisted in skills development over 370 and has attracted 5,000 visitors.
In 2009 the project is to move into the newly constructed Harlow District Sports Centre and become an important visitor attraction for the Harlow district and surrounding areas. Projections are for around 20,000 per year.
