Business Plan 2007 - 2011
The Investing in Communities (IiC) Programme aims to ensure that the most deprived communities can achieve their full potential and therefore contribute to and benefit from sustainable economic growth in the East of England. It is delivered through long term strategic planning led by the sub regional IiC partnerships. Please click on the link below to view the IiC Business Plan for 2007 -2011 for Mid and West Essex (Braintree, Brentwood, Chelmsford, Epping Forest, Harlow, Maldon and Uttlesford districts). The Plan was developed following a consultation event in October 2006 and a Summit event of key people in November 2006. In March 2007 the Plan was agreed by the Board of the East of England Development Agency (EEDA) but, reflecting cuts to the EEDA budget, the Revenue level for 2007/8 was only 80% of that shown in the Plan. Nevertheless, subject to the availability of EEDA’s continuing resources, this means that the Partnership has funding of £9.874m (£5.173 Capital and £4.701 Revenue) from 2007 - 2011.
The IiC team at ExDRA is working with the IiC Partnership and Providers to implement the Business Plan.
