Trade Mission to India - February 09

When Taking place from the 20th – 28th of February 2009
Where Visiting Bangalore (Karnataka State). A small part of the delegation (the inward
investment team looking to promote Essex as a location for potential Indian investors) will also
travel to Hyderabad.
Who For Essex Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing companies. These companies can
exhibit at the International Engineering and Technology Fair 2009 (IETF), flagship event of the
Confederation of Indian Industry
Led by Lord Hanningfield, Leader Essex County Council
The programme If your company is planning to send two delegates on this mission, one of you
will be welcomed to join the inward investment team in their visit to Hyderabad while the other
delegate stays at your stand at the IETF.
Some of the key advantages of this mission are:
1. Subsidised cost of the stand (9 sqmts for your company to exhibit completely free of charge)
2. Eligible companies can apply for the MVS support scheme from UK Trade & Investment (£550 towards your travelling costs)
3. Discount group rate for travelling and accommodation (economy return flights, transfers and 4 stars hotels package estimated price £1,640)
4. Location of your stand in a Essex designated area in the international hall, strongly marketed to exhibition visitors
5. Organized briefing and business networking receptions/dinners, providing you the ideal platform to invite your Indian contacts. ExDRA will also subsidise these events and send invitations on your behalf
