Central & Eastern Europe
Discover the opportunities for your business in these growth markets

A combined population of 65 million in Poland, Czech Republic,Slovakia and Hungary present export prospects in both traditionaland new technology-led sectors. The economies are growing rapidly and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) remains strong.

The Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary joined the EU in 2004. Since then the UK's exports to these four markets has increased to over £4 billion. These strategically located and attractive export markets also offer positive supply chains and onward sales channels. There are definite joint venture opportunities, with the governments from each country offering incentives to further attract FDI to their region. The good education systems provide highly qualified skilled labour at attractive rates which further enhances the benefits of these markets.
