Essex towns experience some strange goings on

Visitors, shoppers and residents in four Essex towns witnessed the region’s biggest street theatre event when ESSEXstreetdiversions exploded into action in May.
The event, which for the first time is toured the County, featured the highest quality street performers from across the globe, mixing the mundane with the bizarre and the absurd.
Award winning street theatre artists provided the entertainment in Chelmsford, Harlow, Braintree and Rayleigh town centres. The event’s centre piece was a magnificent “Twilight Spectacle” in Chelmsford, where renowned Argentinean Theatre Company ‘Grupo Puja!’ performed their UK premiere of the acrobatic spectacle ‘K@osmos’.
